Chuck Hernandez Sports Club Hall of Fame Luncheon Event

Dear Friends and Family of Chuck Hernandez,

On behalf of the Sports Club of Tampa Bay, it is with great pleasure that we invite you to join us to celebrate Chuck Hernandez’s long-overdue induction into our Hall of Fame. A Tampa native, Chuck dedicated over four decades to the game of baseball. His proudest accomplishment was helping to turn young pitching prospects into successful major league pitchers.

Please mark your calendars for a special luncheon in his honor, taking place at the historic Columbia Restaurant in Ybor City on Tuesday, September 23rd. Doors will open at 11:00 AM. Due to international travel earlier this summer, Chuck and Donna were unable to attend our annual Hall of Fame banquet, which welcomed over 500 attendees in June. We are now thrilled to have the opportunity to properly recognize Chuck’s incredible contributions to the game.

Chuck joins an esteemed list of Tampa baseball legends in our Hall of Fame, including Lou Piniella, Tino Martinez, Wade Boggs, Fred McGriff, Joe Maddon, Don Zimmer, and Nardi Contreras.

The cost to attend is $65 per person, and reservations are required. Unfortunately, walk-ins cannot be accommodated. Guests with confirmed reservations are welcome to pay at the door. This event is proudly sponsored by the Tampa Bay Rays and Tampa Catholic High School. To reserve your table please contact me directly via phone or email.
